Ellipse

ELLIPSOID, a quadric surface whose sections are ellipses. Analytically, it has for its equation x /a /b /c 2 =1, a, b, c being its axes; the name is also given to the solid contained by this surface (see Geometry: Analytical). The solids and surfaces of revolution of the ellipse are sometimes termed ellipsoids, but it is advisable to use the name spheroid.

 

The ellipsoid appears in the mathematical investigation of physical properties of media in which the particular property varies in three directions within the media; such properties are the elasticity, giving rise to the strain ellipsoid, thermal expansion, ellipsoid of expansion, thermal conduction, refractive index (see CRYSTALLOGRAPHY), &c. In mechanics, the ellipsoid of gyration or inertia is such that the perpendicular from the centre to a tangent plane is equal to the radius of gyration of the given body about the perpendicular as axis; the "momental ellipsoid," also termed the "inverse ellipsoid of inertia" or Poinsot's ellipsoid, has the perpendicular inversely proportional to the radius of gyration; the "equimomental ellipsoid" is such that its moments of inertia about all axes are the same as those of a given body.

My First Crush

Love is the feeling which animates a person who is genuinely fond of someone; the affection and tenderness felt by lovers. It was begun when I was in grade four. I and my childhood friend were always together. After a month, I felt that I have a crush on her.
Everyday after dismissal we were playing different games; we’re playing for an hour to finish. Every night we’re always talking different things and sharing our secrets. I like her because she is so kind and a good companion. After two years that were together her mother went to Hong Kong and they transfer to other house. I didn’t see her for a year. Then when I was in first year high school I’ve see her in Aplaya near our house. Because of my studies I didn’t visit her anymore. That’s the moment that we’re apart.

Conservation of Our Natural Resources

    Today our natural resources are already endanger, so what should we do to conserve our natural resources? What should the government to protect our natural resources? How shall we protect our natural resources? Our natural resources are depending on us. We're the one who must conserve and protect it.

    As a student we have many ways to conserve and protect our natural resources. First of all, cleaning our surroundings, this helps a lot to conserve our natural resources. Then let's plant trees to make our natural resources clean and green. The government must different seminars on how to protect our natural resources. These seminars will inform the people to protect the environment. This different method will protect and save our environment.

    Let's protect our environment today so that on the next generation it will not be destroy and polluted. Let's protect ourselves and save the environment.

    

Christmas Vacation

    This Christmas vacation I went to Labac to have my vacation there. I stay for five days in Labac. Me and my cousins play computer games and basketball. We also going to Mabulo to visit my other cousins. Sometime I'm going to the house of my Tita about eleven o'clock of the evening. Me and my cousin were staying in the farm of my uncle until midnight. Every morning I'm always waking up late. I enjoy my vacation very much in Labac. I wish I can go again and have my vacation in Labac.

Christmas Day

    This time is the most awaited time of the children because they will earn money and can have a gift to their godfather and godmother. In this day I went to Labac and visit my Tita. I stay there until January 2, 2009. I was very happy that time because my parents allow me to have my vacation in Labac. Together with my cousin we play computer games in the computer shop. I played for one and a half hour. After a while my godfather went to Labac and he give me a gift. I was very happy when I get that gift and I thank him very much. I sleep early that day because I am very tired because yesterday I sleep lat already.     

New Years Day

    At last the most waited moment of the day. Many of the people in our barrio play with the fire crackers. And it is very noisy in that time. I just stay in our house and sometimes in going out to visit my cousin. I was very happy that day because me and my cousins play different games. And I'm not just happy but also my stomach is very full that I cannot stand up. I play computer games so that I am not be bored. I sleep two o'clock of the morning.

The Day Before New Year

    I went again in Labac to get coconuts. After I get coconut I went home. I help my Mother to cook the foods in our Media Noche. Then we it is eight o'clock of the evening it is very noisy already. Many of the children we're playing the fire crackers. Me, I am just rooming around my cousins' house to eat. My stomach was full that day. And if I was going home I'm just eating. Then when it was eleven o'clock of the evening we ride to the tricycle of my cousin and make a noise in around our barrio. Then it is very noisy in that time.

The Day Before Christmas

    In the morning I went to Labac in my Tita's house. I get some coconuts in the farm of my Tita my cousin gets ten coconut. When I went home my Mother preferred for the Buko Salad. I help my Mother to make the Buko Salad. The Buko Salad we've made is so delicious. Then my Mother buy ingredients for the noodles which we will serve for the Noche Buena. The after three o'clock of the afternoon we went to the church in Ermita Manila. We watch the stage plays, the theme was "Candle Light". It is about the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. After eight o'clock we went home. About eleven o'clock of the evening we got home. I open the computer and play games for three hours and I sleep two o'clock of the morning.

Birthday Party

    Today is the birthday of Ate Ross Camille. Me and my mother went in the birthday party in Patio Margaret. There are many people attend in the party, some of them were the classmates of Ate Camille. After a while the post near the Patio Margaret sparks. Many of the visitors check their cars if it still ok. Many of them went home early because of that spark. Then ten minutes later the electricity in Patio Margaret was cut, so it is so dark. After a while the electricity came back in some of the part of Patio Margaret. The classmates of Ate Camille sing together with her. Me and my mother was not able to finish the party we went home already because it is already ten o'clock of the night. When I went home I turn on the computer and play computer games for two hours.
